Selain itu juga merupakan bahan baku pembuatan Natrium Hipoklorit (NaOCl) yang digunakan sebagai disinfektan pengolahan air skala industri.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dalam industri kertas atau daur ulang kertas<\/strong>.\u00a0Dimanfaatkan untuk memisahkan tinta dari serat kertas sebelum digunakan kembali. Disamping itu, juga dapat digunakan sebagai larutan untuk membersihkan selulosa kayu dari material yang tidak diinginkan ketika proses produksi kertas berlangsung.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dalam bidang kesehatan<\/strong>.\u00a0Digunakan sebagai campuran beragam obat dan farmasi seperti anticoagulant, obat untuk mengurangi kolesterol dalam darah dan obat penghilang rasa sakit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dalam industri minyak dan gas<\/strong>. Soda kaustik\u00a0bisa dimanfaatkan untuk mengendalikan alkalinitas dan pH serta menguraikan material organik.
