{"id":3768,"date":"2025-07-21T08:14:30","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T01:14:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/universaleco.id\/?p=3768"},"modified":"2025-07-21T08:28:35","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T01:28:35","slug":"proses-drying-dan-limbah-b3-yang-dihasilkan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/universaleco.id\/en\/proses-drying-dan-limbah-b3-yang-dihasilkan\/","title":{"rendered":"Proses Drying dan Limbah B3 yang Dihasilkan"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pengertian<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Proses <em>drying<\/em> atau pengeringan merupakan suatu proses yang menggunakan energi panas untuk menghilangkan sebagian besar air dari suatu produk atau bahan padatan di mana hasilnya berupa bahan kering yang memiliki kadar air lebih rendah. <em>Drying<\/em> ini biasanya merupakan tahapan terakhir dari suatu proses produksi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/universaleco.id\/en\/filtrasi-dan-pengelolaan-limbah-b3\/\">Baca Juga: Filtrasi dan Pengelolaan Limbah B3<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.universaleco.id\/uploads\/content\/61.jpg\" alt=\"Drying-Universaleco\" width=\"700\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tujuan proses <em>drying <\/em>adalah sebagai berikut:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Bahan menjadi tahan lama untuk disimpan (pengawetan bahan)<\/li>\n<li>Volume bahan menjadi lebih kecil sehingga hemat ruang pengemasan, penyimpanan dan pengangkutan<\/li>\n<li>Biaya produksi menjadi lebih murah<\/li>\n<li>Mutu bahan sesuai yang diinginkan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tahapan Proses <em>Drying<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Terdapat 3 (tiga) tahapan pada proses <em>drying<\/em>, diantaranya:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Periode pengeringan awal (<em>initial period<\/em>): Pemanasan awal atau penyesuaian temperatur bahan yang dikeringkan.<\/li>\n<li>Periode pengeringan laju konstan (<em>constant rate period<\/em>): Memiliki kecepatan pengeringan yang konstan dan dianggap dalam keadaan <em>steady<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Periode pengeringan laju menurun (<em>falling rate period<\/em>): Membutuhkan waktu pengeringan yang lama karena air yang diuapkan sangat kecil.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, 2 (dua) tipe proses <em>drying<\/em>, yaitu:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Pengeringan secara alami: Dilakukan dengan penjemuran langsung yang memiliki kelebihan biaya lebih murah tetapi kekurangan dari segi temperatur yang tidak dapat dikontrol.<\/li>\n<li>Pengeringan secara buatan atau mekanis: Dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat bantu pemanasan atau secara mekanis di mana memiliki kelebihan mampu mengendalikan temperatur dan laju pemanasan tetapi kekurangan terdapat pada biaya yang dikeluarkan akan lebih tinggi. Beberapa tipe pengering mekanis adalah <em>batch dryer, recirculated batch dryer <\/em>dan <em>continuous dryer<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Faktor yang Mempengaruhi<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi proses <em>drying<\/em> adalah sebagai berikut:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Luas permukaan: Semakin luas maka proses pengeringan akan terjadi lebih cepat<\/li>\n<li>Temperatur: Semakin besar perbedaan suhu antara bahan dan media pemanas maka proses pengeringan terjadi lebih cepat<\/li>\n<li>Kecepatan udara: \u00a0Membutuhkan kecepatan udara yang tinggi untuk mempercepat proses<\/li>\n<li>Kelembaban udara: Tingkat kelembaban yang tinggi membuat proses pengeringan berjalan lebih lama<\/li>\n<li>Waktu<\/li>\n<li>Tekanan pada keadaan atmosfer dan vakum<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Industri yang Menerapkan Proses <em>Drying<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sebagian besar industri menggunakan proses <em>drying <\/em>di dalam proses produksinya. Industri-industri tersebut diantaranya:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pigmen<\/li>\n<li>Kertas<\/li>\n<li>Polimer<\/li>\n<li>Kulit<\/li>\n<li>Kayu<\/li>\n<li>Keramik<\/li>\n<li>Makanan<\/li>\n<li>Dan lain-lain<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Proses <em>Drying<\/em> Menghasilkan Limbah B3<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Di dalam industri kimia, proses <em>drying<\/em> diterapkan sehingga bahan tersebut utamanya adalah kimia.
