Kelebihan dari proses ini adalah pembentukan H<sub>2<\/sub>S sedikit atau hampir tidak ada, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah menggunakan suhu operasi yang tinggi.<\/li>\n<li><em>Retort Process<\/em>: Reaksi sulfur dan arang di dalam\u00a0<em>retort\u00a0<\/em>berbentuk tangki oval atau silinder berdiameter 1-3 m. Keunggulan proses ini adalah tidak ada produk samping karena di<em>\u00a0recovery<\/em>\u00a0menjadi sulfur, tetapi memiliki kelemahan yaitu suhu operasi yang juga tinggi.<\/li>\n<li><em>Electric Furnace Process<\/em>: Mereaksikan sulfur dan\u00a0<em>charcoal<\/em>\u00a0di dalam\u00a0<em>electric furnace<\/em>\u00a0berbentuk tangki refraktori silinder berdiameter 5-10 m. Keistimewaan pada proses ini dapat digunakan untuk kapasitas besar tetapi listrik yang dikonsumsi cukup besar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bahaya Karbon Disulfida<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Karbon disulfida adalah salah satu senyawa yang sering digunakan pada industri garmen, minyak dan gas.
